Introduction to the material of die-cutting graphite sheets for heat dissipation materials

Graphite sheet is a novel die-cutting material for heat conduction and dissipation, which conducts heat uniformly in two directions, shields heat sources and components, and simultaneously enhances the performance of consumer electronic products.

I. Overview of Graphite Sheets:

With the accelerated upgrading of electronic products and the growing demand for thermal management in miniaturized, highly integrated, and high-performance electronic devices, this new natural graphite solution offers high thermal efficiency, small footprint, and lightweight. It conducts heat uniformly in both directions, eliminating "hot spot" areas, shielding heat sources and components, and simultaneously improving the performance of consumer electronic products.

II. Main applications of graphite sheets:

1. Applied to laptops, high-power LED lighting, flat panel displays, digital cameras, mobile phones, etc.; product characteristics: the surface can be combined with other materials such as metal, plastic, adhesive, etc. to meet more design functions and needs.

2. Die-cutting principle of graphite sheet heat dissipation material: A typical thermal management system consists of an external cooling device, a heat sink, and a thermal interface. The important function of the heat sink is to create the largest effective surface area, where heat is transferred and carried away by an external cooling medium.

3. Graphite heat sinks effectively transfer heat by distributing it evenly on a two-dimensional plane, ensuring that precision die-cut components operate within their tolerable temperature range. With an excellent thermal conductivity of 150-1200W/m.k, they outperform metals in heat conduction.   

4. Lightweight, with a specific gravity of only 1.0 to 1.3. Soft and easy to handle. Thickness: 0.012-1.0mm. Adhesive layer: 0.03mm. Ultra-thin 0.012mm. Heat conduction coefficient: Planar conduction 300-1200W/m.k. Vertical conduction 20-30 W/m.k. Temperature resistance: 400℃. Low thermal resistance and lightweight. Low thermal resistance: 40% lower than aluminum and 20% lower than copper. Lightweight: 25% lighter than aluminum and 75% lighter than copper.
